The Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS), Florida Department of Education (FDOE), administers programs for students with disabilities. BEESS funds a number of discretionary projects under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part B, Part C, and Part D that provide professional development training to Florida educators and related service personnel. The Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services has developed content for a prekindergarten disabilities endorsement district add-on program.
