The Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS), Florida Department of Education (FDOE), administers programs for students with disabilities and for gifted students, http://www.fldoe.org/ese/. BEESS funds a number of discretionary projects under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part B, Part C, and Part D.
